What is SmartAss OS?

Fourteen productivity rules, turned into an app that enforces them. You type in a task — say, "pay the electricity bill due today". The app hands it to a fast AI judge, a program that reads your text and grades it, which answers five quick questions (Is it urgent? Is it important? Would it take two minutes?). The app then files the task for you: do it now, schedule it, or throw it away. Timers, calendars, and streaks are just ordinary code. And when the AI isn't sure, it asks you instead of guessing.

The 14 rules

1 · 5-Second — count 5-4-3-2-1 and move before doubt creeps in
2 · Feynman — explain to a 12-year-old; gaps are where to relearn
3 · Eisenhower — urgent/important grid: do, schedule, delegate, delete
4 · 2-Minute — if it takes under 2 minutes, do it instantly
5 · Pomodoro — 25 min focus / 5 min break, ×4 then a long break
6 · Active Recall — close the notes, write what you remember, check
7 · 1% Rule — tiny daily improvements compound (1.01^n)
8 · Deep Work — 2–4h blocked, notifications off, one high-value task
9 · Premortem — imagine it failed in 6 months, safeguard now
10 · Habit Stack — attach the new habit right after an old one
11 · 80/20 — cut, delegate, or shrink the low-leverage rest
12 · Two-List — top 5 goals vs. the avoid-until-done list
13 · Journal — nightly: went well / didn't / one change
14 · Spaced Rep — review at 1 / 3 / 7 / 14 days
